Early in 2021, another artist told me that ‘having your work woven’ was something that could be done. Over the moon excited, I immediately set about creating “weave happy” pieces, working with a weaver on the style, colors, and process.

Within a few months, I had my first three tapestries and showed at my first Comic Con.

It was incredible. The way people interacted with my art – the number of them and how strongly they responded – it was so, SO special.

It’s been a wild ride, but I’ve truly fallen in love with making this art. Sometimes it’s a funny thing – sharing your art with people, but with these, it feels like it’s the final step, truly a part of the process.
