Pride month is in June, but when you’re queer, you’re proud all year! This tapestry is calling out to all y’all Plant Queens, Plant Daddies, and Monstera Moms – no one can grow roots, nurture their garden, or eat the sun like you can! Evergreen, cane, maple, walnut, cedar, and clover – we are unbe-LEAF-ably proud to *spruce* up the place with these plants!
The careful, collage design and wiggly color palette were also goals! These tapestries are my answer to “I want something to reflect pride and my flag, but the colors don’t match my home” – because I get it. My office is pastel, my flags are so bold! So I had fun with the tones and shades and aimed for a fresh, artful take on each flag!
